A minimum of at least three surficial ground water monitoring wells shall such <br />provided (one up- gradient and two down - gradient from the fill area) and such <br />additional wells as may be necessary to adequately monitor the site. <br />4. At least one set of nested wells shall be installed up- gradient of the fill. <br />These nested wells shall be developed in the surficial ground water, the <br />glacial till, and the top of the bedrock. Undisturbed soil samples shall be <br />collected at 5 foot intervals and changes in formation and classified acco rd <br />ing to ASTMI- D2486. Said samples shall be retained and turned over to the <br />Department after classification. Water level measurements shall be made quarterly <br />as outlined below. <br />
