f . <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Public Hearing: 7:34 P.M., July 7, 1981, requesting <br />preliminary plat approval regarding James Refrigeration. <br />Members Present: Mr. Kenneth Peterson., Chairman <br />Mr. Benjamin Deemer <br />Mr. Arthur Dunn <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman <br />Mr. Harry Ellis <br />Mrs. Kathy Schneider <br />Members Absent: Mr. Ronald West <br />Others Present: Building Official Berg <br />1] <br />The Public Hearing for James Refrigeration's request for <br />preliminary plat approval was called to order at the above <br />time and date. The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed <br />the request and Chairman Peterson asked for citizen input. <br />Mr. Richard Kvenbeck from James Refrigeration came before <br />the commission for preliminary plat approval for the Marx <br />Addition described as Plat 89223, Parcel 7280, generally <br />known as 152XX Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey.., Minnesota 55303. <br />Citizen Bill Aydt, 14964 Nowthen Blvd., came before the <br />commission and inquired if gas pumps would be involved. <br />Mr.. Kvenbeek answered yes, self service pumps., <br />Mr. Alfred Albert, Royal Esquire Realty, 1612 Pioneer <br />Building, St. Paul, Mn. came beforethe Commission and <br />stated Dr. Marx did not see a need for a road to the back <br />of the lot as access on 153rd Avenue N.W., would be <br />best. Mr. Albert -.stated he.-did visibility testing <br />and the worst visiblity is at the city hall entrance <br />and visibility from the north is poorer than from the south. <br />Building Officical.Berg stated the topic now is not <br />road entrance but platting only and the only question <br />is if you are going to have a street in there... <br />Citizen Tom Anderson, 16831 Helium, came before the Commission <br />and stated the county suggested a street as it is dangerous <br />to use 153rd access. It is now a residential street and <br />the Commission should look 5--10 years down the road. <br />Mr. Albert stated the property is zoned rural /residential, <br />and no road is necessary except for private access. <br />Citizen Bob Zelenak, 15250 Nowthen Boulevard, came before <br />the Commission and asked if the zoning now would be right <br />1 <br />
