That mailing offered the <br />cities an opportunity to comment on the Council's estimates prior to <br />submittal to the State Department of Revenue. <br />Anoka County also received the "Provisional Population Estimate ". <br />However, unlike the cities and townships, we do not have the necessary indicate <br />da for comment ;cil population f f guresn a would <br />please <br />or Anoka County. <br />The areas of concern are changes between April 1, 1980 and April 1, 1981 <br />in: <br />1. New housing <br />2. Population per household <br />• 3, School population. <br />The highest possible population count is important to jhe fjties /townships <br />and Anoka County for the ouulation isptheldetermbning factor in Anoka <br />I addition, the County population <br />County's continuation in the Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />We strongly encourage you to bring to the attention of the Metropolitan <br />Council any discrepancy between their estimates and yours.
