] ]H , i I IIII <br />—Lis league of minnesota cities <br />1981 LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES <br />FALL REGIONAL MEETINGS <br />The schedule for the series of 15 fall regional meetings <br />of the League has been finalized. <br />All meetings will have an afternoon session at 2:30 for an <br />unstructured roundtable discussion of questions of importance to <br />your city conducted by the League's Field Representative, Tom <br />Thelen. The League's insurance programs for cities will be one <br />of the items briefly discussed. <br />The 6:30 dinner meeting will be preceded by a social hour <br />in most locations. <br />After the 6:30 dinner, a panel of League staff members in- <br />cluding a League attorney and lobbyist will respond to members <br />questions about matters of concern to all cities. A member of <br />the League's Board of Directors will briefly outline the League's <br />legislative action process for the 1982 legislative session. <br />• Please try now to arrange your schedule so that your city <br />will be well represented at the regional meeting in your area. <br />Elected city officials are encouraged to bring to the regional <br />meetings those appointed department heads and members of advisory <br />commissions who would benefit from attending a regional meeting. <br />The following is the tentative schedule of cities hosting <br />regional meetings and the day and date of the meeting: <br />(OVER) <br />0 <br />300 hanover building, 480 cedar street, saint paul, minnesota 55101 C61 21 222 -2861 <br />
