HOUSING <br /> <br />D. HOUSING <br /> <br />Ramsey is not currently part of the Metropolitan Urban <br />Service Area. However, a portion of Ramsey is scheduled <br />to be added to the urban service area between 1981 - 1990. <br />As portions of Ramsey become more urbanized, a more delib- <br />erate effort is necessary to assure that the housing needs <br />of this region of the metropolitan area are met. Housing <br />programs Ramsey will initiate when utilities are available <br />include: <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Allowing 6,000 sq. ft. lots for single family homes <br />which are part of a Planned Unit Development. <br /> <br />Allow multiple family densities as high as 20 units <br />per acre. <br /> <br />Encourage developers to use of Minnesota Housing <br />Finance Agency for financing multiple family <br />developments. <br /> <br />4.
