Lakevllle, Minnesota 55044 (6'i2) 469-388~ <br /> <br />November 20, 1980 <br /> <br />Mr. Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Administrator <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br /> Re: DNR Preliminary Designation of <br /> Public Waters/Wetlands <br /> <br />Dear Lloyd: <br />As requested, I have briefly reviewed, the DNR Preliminary Wetlands Inventory in <br />the City of Ramsey with Mr. Clayton Berg and Mr. Merle Mevisso~ from your staff. <br /> Our review revealed that generally all of the wetland designations appear to be <br /> too broad and should be reviewed in detail prior to adoption. <br /> Specifically the following areas appear to be designated incorrectly: <br /> 1) The area in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of Industry Avenue and <br /> Sunfish Lake Boulevard. <br /> <br /> 2) The area northwesterly of the intersection of Industry Avenue and S.T.H. 47 <br /> (Flintwood Hills Area). <br /> <br /> 3) The area southeasterly of the intersection of County Road 63 and Variolite <br /> Street (Ramsey Ridge Plat). <br /> <br />4) Areas along Trott Brook. <br /> Attached please find a copy of Figure 4, Wetlands from the Comprehensive Storm <br /> Drainage Plan for the City of Ramsey which we feel is a better designation of the <br /> wetlands within the transition and urban areas of the City. <br /> <br />Yours truly, <br />CONSULTING ENGINEERS DIVERSIFIED, INC. <br /> <br /> Peter R.
