Schnelle <br />City Administrator /Clerk <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard Northwest <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br />C.S. 0202 (T.H. 10) <br />At C.S.A.H. 57 <br />Plants and Things Farm Market <br />Dear Mr. Schnelle: <br />This letter is in response to our copy of your letter to Mr. Paul Rudd, <br />Anoka County Engineer, dated October 3, 1980 concerning the use of Mn /DOT <br />right -of -way (R/W) at the subject location. <br />This morning, Pat Chandler our Area Maintenance Engineer, Captain Leo <br />Foley of the State Patrol and myself reviewed the site. We met with Mrs. <br />Larry Hickman, the proporietor of Plants and Things, and informed her that <br />the advertising sign and all other materials (wood, pumpkins, etc.) must <br />be removed from Mn /DOT right -of -way. Our R/W extends 53 feet from the <br />centerline of the westbound T.H. 10 roadway or approximately 28 feet from <br />the edge of the turn lane. <br />The advertising sign must be removed by October 24, 1980, the piles of <br />wood must be removed by November 3, 1980 and all items (pumpkins, etc.) <br />must be removed by November 15, 1980. <br />We also informed Mrs. Hickman that the portion of their driveway on C.S.A.H. <br />57 within Mn /DOT R/W is illegal and that she should talk to Anoka County <br />concerning that portion north of our R/W. <br />Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. <br />Sincerely, <br />�t <br />R.
