Excerpt from Minnesota State Highway Publication Document regarding Ramsey Landfill Letter from Anoka County Letter from City Engineer regarding Sorteberg's Addition Letter from D.N.R. regarding Anoka County Public Waters Inventory Information regarding Good Value Homes request Excerpt from City Code covering finding of fact CASE 111: DRAINAGE PROBLEM AT 163RD STREET AND OLIVINE STREET N.W.: Citizen who resides adjacent to the intersection of 163rd Street and Olivine Street N.W.is complaining about his property being flooded during the spring runoff. Consequently, I am bringing this issue before the Council for your direction on this case. Enclosure (D3 -a) contains the following information on this case: a) Letter from City Engineer dated October 15, 1980. I asked the City Engineer to review this case with me and comment on it. b) Merle Mevissen, Public Works Superintendent memo dated October 20, 1980. I asked Merle to comment on this case so we could have some background information. Comments: Inasmuch as we have learned how the citizens problem came about and how it can now be resolved, the Council will now have to give direction as this issue involves policy. I'm sure we have other situations that are similar and we will have to deal with them at a future date and this could be expensive. Council Action: Your action will be to approve /disapprove of resolving the drainage problem. If we approve of resolving this drainage problem, we should develop a policy on it so that all citizens with a similar problem are treated equal.
