Easements
would also have to be obtained to allow the water to drain to the low area lying
northeasterly of the intersection Olivine Street N.W. and 163rd Avenue N.W. With-
out doing a detailed feasibility study me would estimate that this alternative
could cost in excess of $5,000.
• A less costly alternative would be to install a dry well at the low point south
of 163rd Avenue N.W. This alternative would not be as reliable as the positive
outlet to the north. It would be subject tofreezing and would require periodic
maintenance.
If you have any further question in regard to the drainage problem, please let me
know.
Yours truly,
CONSULTING ENGINEERS DIVERSIFIED, INC.
Peter , p E..G./ti`°—
PRR:jmj
File: RT9:11 -1
civil • municipal • planning • environmental • land surveying • geotechnics • waste treatment
