TO: City Administrator FROM; Building Official RE; Moved in storage building DATE; October 24, 1980 Attached please find a copy of a building permit application and a site plan for a storage building Mr. Cox wishes to place on his property located on Sunfish Lake Blvd. This building is presently located in the City of Anoka where Mr. Cox previously had his place of business and obviously acceptable at that location. City ordinance would require that Mr Cox take the following steps: 1) Apply for a building permit. 2) Pay $100.00 to have the building inspected. 3) Receive Council approval if the building meets code. 4) Comply with the Cities proposed site and design plan ordinance, Inasmuch as I am familiar with the building in question and Mr. Cox's present operation, it would be my recommendation that the City Council approve his re- quest to relocate this building to his present place of business. I feel an item such as this should not have to go through a site and design plan review. Its a temporary type of type of policy structure, according to Waste Management, which is smaller than the average double garage to be located on 80 acres of land.
