7. City Engineer Regarding Oakridge Estates and Change Order to do Street <br />Surface of Tungsten Street <br />City Engineer Raatikka said he received a cost of $7,757.00 from N.D.H., Inc. <br />which breaks down to $2,282 for the catch basin and pipe and the rest is for <br />blacktopping of Tungsten Street. It was about 10% higher than what they <br />thought. <br />Motion by Councilman Nickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #80 -133 Change Order to do street surface of Tungsten Street. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes- Miayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Nickelson and Cox. Voting no -None. Please refer to Resolution file for <br />for Resolution #80 -133. <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to execute <br />the contract for Oakridge Estates Restoration Project. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes -Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no - None. <br />It was the concensus of the Council to have a special meeting at 6:00 P.M. <br />for accepting bids on Monday, October 20, 1980. <br />City Engineer Raatikka said regarding Project #80 -10 (159th), a resident is <br />concerned he is going to get flooded out in the spring runoff. He has a <br />drainfield in back that has concerned him. He would like some action by <br />the Council that this problem will be taken care of. <br />8. Approval of Agreement for the Mox's in Regards to Their Variance from <br />the City Subdivision Code <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #80 -134 approving the agreement between the City of Ramsey and <br />Mr. Raymond Mox, 15960 Armstrong Blvd., Ramsey, Minnesota for one additional <br />home to be built on his property. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes -Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Nickelson and Cox. Voting no -None. Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #80 -134. <br />9 Landfill <br />Councilman Cox said after reviewing Ingrid Ritchie's report dated 9/29/80 <br />on the Ramsey Landfill, he felt something should be done about the land <br />north of the landfill so that it will not ever be platted. He felt the <br />landfill people should buy that land and the City should have it in their <br />jurisdiction. <br />Councilman Sorteberg said the City should make sure that land is not platted. <br />City Attorney Goodrich asked if the City should accept transfer and liability <br />or should the City steer clear of it. <br />C /October 14, 1980 <br />Page 6 <br />
