Morton, 16355 St. Francis Blvd.
Mr. Morton said he had ten (10) acres of land on which he has been growing
trees and shrubs for years. He said he would be retiring in May and he
wanted to sell trees & shrubs for a little retirement income.
Art Dunn questioned whether this was an agriculture -type commodity or not.
City Administrator Schnelle said Mr. Morton is doing everything the
ordinance requires by coming before the council with his request. He
said he didn't feel Mr. Morton should be penalized when others are
presently operating this type of business without coming in.
Ben Deemer asked Mr. Morton is he would be bringing in trees & shrubs to sell.
Mr. Morton said he would be bringing in some trees & shrubs.
There was no other public input.
The meeting adjourned at 7:53 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
PUBLIC HEARING Page 1 10/7/80
