2) Infra Red Aerial photo of the City of Ramsey to de-
tect homes with excessive heat losses.
3) Remodeling of City Hall lower section to better serve
the people of Ramsey.
4) Purchase of land at City Hall for Public Works Build-
ing. This may be a tough one.
I talked to Champlin the other day and they really like the Urban Community
Block Grant in the way it is administered under Hennepin County. They said
every year they are given an allocation of grant dollars. However, they do
have to prepare certain forms and meet the federal requirements in regards
to the type of projects.
Maybe after we get the guidelines, we will be able to move forward with our
request here in Anoka County.
3) City Projects - The following is a list of City projects that haven't
been completed:
a) Comprehensive Plan - This project is currently awaiting the
completion of the following:
1) Completion of the 1981 - 1985 Capitol Improvement Pro-
gram Budget which requires Council action.
2) Implementation Section - This will be accomplished when
the budget is completed.
b) Wild and Scenic River Ordinance - This requires me to take
time off and set up meetings to negotiate lot sizes with the
DNR people.
c) Critical Rivers Ordinance - Metro Council still hasn't
accepted this document because of our lot sizes. We won't be
doing any more on this until we submit our Comprehensive Plan
as we will have lot size problems here also.
d) Extension of Industrial Blvd. - I will try and have a report
to you on this. I think Al Sorteberg was the one assigned to
this project.
e) Site and Design Plan Ordinance - This still isn't ready for
Council approval due to lack of time
f) Mining Ordinance - The changes that are necessary here
haven't been done due to lack of time
