•
TO: City Administrator
FROM: Building Official
RE: Monthly Report
DATE: October 22, 1980
Building showed a minor surge with thirteen housing starts for the month
and forty -five starts for the year. This is somewhat better than was ex-
pected for the year in April and May.
Since the house size ordinance changed, there have been thirteen housing
permits issued that would not have complied with our previous ordinance.
They are somewhat distributed throughout the City with knowledge, majority
ecvmad
located in Sorteberg's and Countryside Estates. To my g , ye
not received any further complaints about this issue.
Letters were sent to Holker in regards to his moved in buildings, and to
Welch Auto Body in regards to a mobile home. To date, we have not had a
response from Mr. Holker. However, Mr. Welch called and indicated he may
want to use the mobile home for a guard shack at his place of business.
He was informed of what City ordinances he would have to comply with.
Permits issued, mileage and inspections are as follows:
Permits Issued Permit Fee Valuation Surcharge
A. Houses 13 $1,969.00 $496,000.00 $248.00
B. Comm/Ind. 1 36.00 6,000.00 3.00
C. Garages 6 176.00 26,000.00 13.00
D. Additions 3 140.00 26,000.00 13.00
E.
