• PUBLIC HEARING City of Ramsey Anoka County State of Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a public hearing regarding Street Improvvem0enttProjectm(Ty Municipal Rivly nter, and Front Streets) on September 23, 1980, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 553 Members Present: Councilman cSorteberg Councilman Reimann Councilman Mickelson Councilman Cox Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance. City Engineer Raatikka said the proposed project consists of upgrading Tungsten Street, Front Street and Rivlyn Avenue. Since the proposed project is located in the 1990 Urban Service Area, he recommended that construction of the street to ultimate standards be put off until services are constructed. He recommended two alternatives to the ultimate street sections: 1) Consider the proposed suburban street section for Tungsten and Front Streets and 2) Consider not doing any ercost than inlets to the Rivlyn Avenue. good for this year only. He said adding a couple inlets to the storm sewer at Rivlyn Avenue and Tungsten Street would cost an estimated $2,400 which should be assessed to property owners from the entire area that drains into the storm sewer. Ms Ruth Gustafson 625 Rivlyn Avenue Ms. Gustafson asked why the city is putting in streets now if sewer & water will be coming in. Mayor Gamec said that is a concern of the council also as the will be available in 1982.
