Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-054 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-11, HY-10 RAMSEY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the existing segments of Ferret Street, 1461h Avenue and 1471h Avenue within the HY-10 Ramsey plat; and WHEREAS, the City proposes to extend Ferret Street to connect to Bunker Lake Boulevard to provide a secondary access route to properties within the HY-10 Ramsey plat; and WHEREAS, the City proposes to extend sanitary sewer and watermain utilities under 1471h Avenue and Ferret Street to allow all properties within the HY-10 Ramsey plat, which is located within the City's MUSA, to be served by municipal utilities; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-349 adopted December 14, 2021, the City Council accepted a design services proposal from Bolton & Menk, Inc. to update the Feasibility Report, prepare plans and specifications, and solicit bids for Improvement Project #23 -12; and WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk, Inc. has completed plans and specifications for the purpose of soliciting bids for said improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the additional services performed by Bolton & Menk in the amount of $27,998 per their letter dated March 8, 2023 as needed to complete plans and specifications for the purpose of soliciting bids for City Improvement Project #23-12. 2) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc. for said improvements and authorizes the advertisement of bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project #23-12. 3) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the construction services proposal as submitted by Bolton & Menk, Inc. for City Improvement Project #23-12 in the not -to - exceed amount of $34,881.
