Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-01-027 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO LANDWEHR <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR I.P. #05-29 TH 47 UNDERPASS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey-City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for T.H. #47 Pedestrian Underpass, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on July 26, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $166,546.40. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends 2nd partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $154,883.25. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends 3rd partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $6,135.10, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work <br />and recommends 4th partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $15,101.14. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Landwehr for Improvement <br />Project #05-29 in the amount of $15,101.14. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of January 2006. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-01-027 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
