Chairperson Elvig suggested Mr. Bower discuss the maintenance of the pathway with staff. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Receive Request from Colleen Fischer for a stop sign for 154th Lane at Marmoset <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson indicated the City has received a request from a resident <br />for a stop sign at 154th Lane and Marmoset. Further information will be brought to the next <br />Public Works Committee meeting. <br /> <br />City Standards for 8 Foot Versus 10 Foot Trails <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson provided the Public Works Committee with a cost <br />analysis regarding 8 foot trails versus 10 foot trails as a standard in the City. He advised based <br />on the analysis, staff would recommend the purchase of a 10 foot trail paver, rather than an 8 <br />foot trail paver. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to direct staff to include a <br />10 foot trail paver in the budget, and to explore the cost and benefits of purchasing a larger trail <br />paver. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Councilmembers Cook and Olson. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Flooding in the Northwest Portion of the City <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson provided the Committee with an update on the flooding <br />in the northwest portion of the City. He indicated the water has receded.
