CASE # <br /> ADOPT ORDINANCE FOR VACATION OF EASEMENT <br /> IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF MEADOW; <br /> CASE OF GM LAND COMPANY <br />By: Sylvia Frolik, Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The final plat of Meadow requires vacation of underlying drainage and utility easements. On <br />February 28, 2006, the City Council introduced an ordinance to vacate those easements. The <br />following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />Proposed Ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />oft. he subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In accordance with the City Charter, the ordinance introduced on February 28 is now eligible for <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recorrunends adoption of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance #06-03- to vacate the drainage and utility easements contained on <br />Ramsey Dental Clinic Addition and Holaseks Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II <br /> <br />CC: 03/14/06 <br /> <br />-205- <br /> <br /> <br />
