89136 <br /> <br />WHE =REAS, the State is about to perform grading, aggregate base, <br />paving, storm sewer, curb and gutter, turn lane and traffic control <br />signal construction and other associated construction upon, along and <br />adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 10 at Ramsey Boulevard and at Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard within the corporate City limits and at Fairoak Avenue <br />in accordance with State plans, specifications and special provisions <br />designated as State Project No. 0202-80 (T.H. 10=003), State Project <br />No. 0202-81 (T.H. !0=003), State Prqject No. 0202-86 (T.H. 10=003) <br />and State Project No. 7107-57 (T.H.. 10=093) and in the records of the <br />Federal Highway Administration as Minnesota Projec~ hUH 0010 (312); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has requested and the State has agreed to the <br />inclusion of turn lane extensions on Trunk Highway No. 10 at Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard and the reconstruction of Ramsey Boulevard in the <br />State's construction contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has expressed its willingness to participate in the' <br />costs of the turn lane extensions and the Ramsey Boulevard <br />construction and associated construction engineering in a lump sum <br />amount as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that it in the public's best interest <br />for the State to provide a new cabinet and controller and a Signal <br />Service Cabinet, (State Furnished Materials) for the new Traffic <br />Control Signal System at Trunk Highway No. 10 and Ramsey Boulevard; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a separate Traffic Control Signal Agreement (No. 88581) has <br />been prepared between the State and the City of Anoka for the signal <br /> <br />2 -221- <br /> <br /> <br />
