Case #2 (Environmental Policy Board Membership) should be corrected to reflect <br />that Councilmember Strommen's opinions were being relayed through and from <br />Chairperson McDilda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Olds, Sitz and Max. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Committee Members Bauer and Connolly. <br /> <br />TASK FORCE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case#1.a Discussion Regarding Environmental Policy Board Membership And <br /> Representation <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda invited Councilmember Strommen to share her thoughts on the <br />membership and representation for the newly established Environmental Policy Board. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Olds and seconded by Committee Member Max to recommend <br />to City Council that the Environmental Policy Board consist of 7 voting members (1 from each <br />of the 4 wards and 3 at large); that the Chair may be selected from either one of the 4 ward <br />representatives or the at large members; and 3 non-voting members (Student Intern, City Staff <br />Liaison, City Council Liaison). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Olds, Sitz and Max. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Committee Members Bauer and Connolly. <br /> <br />Case #1: Formulate 2005 Work Plan <br /> <br />Discussion ensued and it was determined that the work plan would actually be goals for the <br />Environmental Policy Board as follows: <br /> <br />Approval of Wetland Buffer Ordinance <br />Increased educational awareness on environmental topics <br />> Complete wetland buffer guidebook <br />> Participate in environmental expo <br />> Develop environmental web page for City ofRamsey website <br />> Target awareness for phosphorous fertilizer ban <br />Offer feedback for Comprehensive Plan Update <br />> Open Spaces <br />> Other Issues As Necessary <br />Complete a review of implementation of the Tree Ordinance <br />Quarterly updates with council members by ward <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Max and seconded by Committee Member Olds to approve the <br />2005 goals for the Environmental Policy Board as drafted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Olds, Sitz and Max. <br />Voting No: None.
