Staff member Chris Anderson informed the task force that the City received ten (10) applications <br />to fill seven vacancies on the Environmental Policy Board. Applicants will be contacted by <br />Human Resources to schedule interviews for April 19, 2005, which will be conducted by the <br />Personnel Committee. It is anticipated that recommendations for the EPB will be brought <br />forward to the City Council at the April 26, 2005 meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2 <br /> <br />Assignments for Environmental Health and Education Expo <br /> <br />The Environmental Health and Education Expo will be held on May 7, 2005. Chairperson <br />McDilda and Committee Member Bauer volunteered to set up the booth for the task force. The <br />theme for the booth will focus on the wetland buffer ordinance. Chairperson McDilda <br />volunteered to enlarge some Conservation District wetland maps to display at the booth. <br />Ramsey Tree Books and a one-page summary of the wetland buffer ordinance will also be <br />available at the booth. Committee Member Bauer also volunteered to supply several saw logs <br />that can be used for the band saw demonstration. The booth will be staffed by Chairperson <br />McDilda and Committee Member Bauer from 7-9am. Staffing of the booth from 9-1 lam and <br />from 11-1pm still needs to be worked out. <br /> <br />Case #3: Attendance for Joint EPTF/Parks Commission meeting on April 14, 2005 <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda and Committee Members Olds, Sitz, and Max will be present for the joint <br />meeting, which will be held April 14, 2005 at Fire Station #1 beginning at 6:30pm. Committee <br />Member Sitz requested that EPTF members receive a copy of the agenda prior to this meeting. <br /> <br />TASK FORCE INPUT <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda stated that the Appreciation Dinner is scheduled for April 18, 2005, which <br />is the date of the next EPTF meeting. Due to this conflict, the EPTF's regular meeting on April <br />18, 2005 has been cancelled. <br /> <br />Committee Member Sitz reported that the Ducks, Wetlands, and Clean Water rally held at the <br />state capital on April 2, 2005, was well attended and the speakers were very good. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Max and seconded by Committee Member Sitz to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Olds, Max, Bauer, and <br />Sitz. Voting No: None.
