Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-066 RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND RE -APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, 2023; and WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County Union, on the City's website, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, and via the City's email notification system; and WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 14, 2023 and on March 21, 2023; and WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following appointments to the boards and commissions, as follows: Environmental *Reid Bernard 4-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-27) Policy Board Jessica Vikander 2-year partial term (04-01-23 to 03-31-25) Hassan Salami 1-year partial term (04-01-23 to 03-31-24) Thomas Hagerty 1-year partial term (04-01-23 to 03-31-24) Park and Recreation *Brandon Sis 4-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-27) Commission *Nathan Barten 4-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-27) Todd Arts 4-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-27) Planning Commission *Eric Peters 4-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-27) Ryan Heineman 4-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-27) Economic Brittany Lindahl 6-year full term (04-01-23 to 03-31-29) Development Authority *Indicates a re -appointment NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Motion to adopt resolution #23-066 as follows: 1) appointing the following board and commission members effective April 1, 2023: to the Environmental Policy Board, Mr. Reid Bernard to a 4-year full term, Ms. Jessica Vikander to a 2-year partial term, Mr. Hassan Salami to a 1-year partial term, Mr. Thomas Hagerty to a 1-year partial term; and to the Park and Recreation Commission, Mr. Brandon Sis to a 4-year full term, Mr. Nathan Barten to a 4-year full term, Mr. Todd Arts to a 4-year full term; and to the Planning Commission, Mr. Eric Peters to a 4-year full term, Mr. Ryan Heineman to a 4- year full term; and to the Economic Development Authority, Ms. Brittany Lindahl to a 6- year full term.
