Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-051 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ST ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID FOR 161 AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-01 st WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct 161 Avenue between Armstrong Boulevard and Variolite Street; and th WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #22-089, adopted April 12, 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolten & Menk, Inc., for Topographic Survey of the project area; and rd WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #22-200, adopted August 23, 2022, City staff has received and reviewed the Topographic Survey, and has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising for bids for same improvement; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising for bids for the same improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer for the making of such improvements and authorizes the advertisement of st bids for the same improvements as City Improvement Project #23-01, 161 Avenue Reconstruction. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Riley Councilmember Woestehoff Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Howell Councilmember Olson Councilmember Specht and the following voted against the same: None
