Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-064 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-07, 2023 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street segments in 2023 as identified within the 2023 – 2032 Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, funding for this improvement is proposed to come from the Pavement Management Funds and Storm Water Fund with a total estimated project costs of $696,500. WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-250, adopted November th 7, 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-288 adopted December 13, 2022, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for improvement project 23-07, 2023 Neighborhood Pavement overlays Improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Staff has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising for bids for the same improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer for the making of such improvements and authorizes the advertisement of bids for the same improvements as City Improvement Project #23-07, 2023 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Kuzma Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Olson Councilmember Howell Councilmember Riley Councilmember Specht Councilmember Woestehoff
