HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 1-10100-9 <br />7.1 Subd. 29. Edible cannabis product. "Edible cannabis product" means any product that <br />7.2 is intended to be eaten or consumed as a beverage by humans; contains a cannabinoid other <br />7.3 than an artificially derived cannabinoid in combination with food ingredients; is not a drug; <br />7.4 and is a type of product approved for sale by the office, or is substantially similar to a product <br />7.5 approved by the office including but not limited to products that resemble nonalcoholic <br />7.6 beverages, candy, and baked goods. Edible cannabis product does not include lower -potency <br />7.7 hemp edibles. <br />7.8 Subd. 30. Health care practitioner. "Health care practitioner" means a <br />7.9 Minnesota -licensed doctor of medicine, a Minnesota -licensed physician assistant acting <br />7.10 within the scope of authorized practice, or a Minnesota -licensed advanced practice registered <br />7.11 nurse who has an active license in good standing and the primary responsibility for the care <br />7.12 and treatment of the aualifvina medical condition of an individual diaLynosed with a aualifvina <br />7.13 medical condition. <br />7.14 Subd. 31. Health record. "Health record" has the meaning given in section 144.291, <br />7.15 subdivision 2. <br />7.16 Subd. 32. Hemp business. (a) "Hemp business" means either of the following licensed <br />7.17 under this chapter: <br />7.18 (1) lower -potency hemp edible manufacturer; or <br />7.19 (2) lower -potency hemp edible retailer. <br />7.20 (b) Hemp business does not include a person or entity licensed under chapter 18K to <br />7.21 grow industrial hemp for commercial or research purposes or to process industrial hemp <br />7.22 for commercial purposes. <br />7.23 Subd. 33. Hemb concentrate. (a) "Hemb concentrate" means: <br />7.24 (1) the extracts and resins of a hemp plant or hemp plant parts; <br />7.25 (2) the extracts or resins of a hemp plant or hemp plant parts that are refined to increase <br />7.26 the presence of targeted cannabinoids; or <br />7.27 (3) a product that is produced by refining extracts or resins of a hemp plant or hemp <br />7.28 plant parts and is intended to be consumed by combustion or vaporization of the product <br />7.29 and inhalation of smoke, aerosol, or vapor from the product. <br />7.30 (b) Hemp concentrate does not include artificially derived cannabinoids, lower -potency <br />7.31 hemp edibles, hemp -derived consumer products, or hemp -derived topical products. <br />Article 1 Section 1. 7 <br />
