HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 1-10100-9 <br />21.1 (ii) the Grand Portage Band; <br />21.2 (iii) the Mille Lacs Band; <br />21.3 (iv) the White Earth Band; <br />21.4 (v) the Bois Forte Band; <br />21.5 (vi) the Leech Lake Band; <br />21.6 (vii) the Red Lake Nation; <br />21.7 (viii) the Upper Sioux Community; <br />21.8 (ix) the Lower Sioux Indian Community; <br />21.9 (x) the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community; and <br />21.10 (xi) the Prairie Island Indian Community; and <br />21.11 (32) a representative from the Local Public Health Association of Minnesota appointed <br />21.12 by the association. <br />21.13 (b) While serving on the Cannabis Advisory Council and within two years after <br />21.14 terminating service, a council member shall not serve as a lobbyist, as defined under section <br />21.15 10A.01, subdivision 21. <br />21.16 Subd. 2. Terms; compensation; removal; vacancy; expiration. The membership terms, <br />21.17 compensation, removal of members appointed by the governor, and filling of vacancies of <br />21.18 members are provided in section 15.059. Notwithstanding section 15.059, subdivision 6, <br />21.19 the advisory council shall not expire. <br />21.20 Subd. 3. Officers; meetings. (a) The director of the Office of Cannabis Management <br />21.21 or the director's designee must chair the Cannabis Advisory Council. The advisory council <br />21.22 must elect a vice -chair and may elect other officers as necessary. <br />21.23 (b) The advisory council shall meet quarterly or upon the call of the chair. <br />21.24 (c) Meetings of the advisory council are subiect to chapter 13D. <br />21.25 Subd. 4. Duties. (a) The duties of the advisory council shall include: <br />21.26 (1) reviewing national cannabis policy; <br />21.27 (2) examining the effectiveness of state cannabis policy; <br />21.28 (3) reviewing developments in the cannabis industry; <br />Article 1 Sec. 3. 21 <br />
