This section is effective the day following final enactment. <br />279.12 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 152.02, subdivision 4, is amended to read: <br />279.13 Subd. 4. Schedule III. (a) Schedule III consists of the substances listed in this subdivision. <br />279.14 (b) Stimulants. Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any <br />279.15 material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following <br />279.16 substances having a potential for abuse associated with a stimulant effect on the central <br />279.17 nervous system, including its salts, isomers, and salts of such isomers whenever the existence <br />279.18 of such salts, isomers, and salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical <br />279.19 designation: <br />279.20 (1) benzphetamine; <br />279.21 (2) chlorphentermine; <br />279.22 (3) clortermine; <br />279.23 (4) phendimetrazine. <br />279.24 (c) Depressants. Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any <br />279.25 material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following <br />279.26 substances having a potential for abuse associated with a depressant effect on the central <br />279.27 nervous system: <br />279.28 (1) any compound, mixture, or preparation containing amobarbital, secobarbital, <br />279.29 pentobarbital or any salt thereof and one or more other active medicinal ingredients which <br />279.3o are not listed in any schedule; <br />Article 8 Sec. 2. 279 <br />
