Chairperson Nixt introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #PC 07 -01 -004 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA, CONCERNING THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA'S REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA PROPOSAL WHEREAS, the proposal by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, to establish a Redevelopment Project Area as described herein (the "Redevelopment Project Area "), in connection with construction of various buildings aggregating approximately 643,000 square feet to be used as retail facilities and adopting the Redevelopment Plan for the Redevelopment Project Area (the "Plan "); all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law, including Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 through 469.047 and 469.090 through 469.1082; have been submitted to the Planning Commission, City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "Commission "); and WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Plan to determine the consistency of the Plan with the Comprehensive Plan of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission, City of Ramsey, Minnesota, that the Plan is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and the Commission recommends approval of the Plan to the Ramsey City Council. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Chairperson Nixt Commissioner Cleveland Commissioner Hunt Commissioner Levine Commissioner Trites Rolle Commissioner Van Scoy and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Commissioner Brauer
