September 26, 1980 <br /> <br />MINNESOTA CABLE COIqMUNICATIONS BOARD <br />500 Rice Street <br />Saint Paul, Minnesota 55103 <br /> Re: City of Andover Cable Communication Territory <br /> <br />Dear Board Members: ' <br />At the September 16 Regular City Council Meeting, the Andover City <br />Council unanimously adopted a'motion to designate the initial cable <br />communications service territory as that area consisting of .all lands <br />located within the boundaries of the Andover Urban Service Area as <br />shown on the attached map. <br /> The estimated population for this initial service area is 5,000. <br /> At this time it is quite difficult to estimate the population in the <br /> expanded areas other than to give the total city population as 9,215. <br /> It would be the intention of the City Council to expand the initial <br /> service territory in phases as population increase would demand. <br /> ike to point out that within the designated initial <br /> We w~uld also ~ .... cf~rlv nortion presently is sub~tan~!~lly ,_ ~_~ <br /> service area, ~ ~q~-~[-^~+ +his to be serviceO un~l/ such ~,,,~ <br /> undeveloped; we wouiO no~ ~xp~ ~ <br /> as development occurs.
