October 10, 1980 Board Rice Street paul', Miq 55103 Re: . proposed Expa~Sic.n of Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable · Service Territory Dear chairman Stone: In'my letter of September 3, 1980, an objection to the proposed expansion of the Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey cable service territory was presented to you and the Board on behalf of the Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable Con~nunications Connnission (hereinafter the Commission). During its meeting on September 12, 1980, the Minnesota Cable Communications Board postponed action on the City of Andover's CST expansion proposal, and referred the proposal back for reconsideration by the city Council of the city of Andover. In a letter to the Board on September 26, 1980, Patricia Lindquist, acting administrator of the City of Andover, proposed a new initial cable service territory consisting of the Andover Urban Service Area as shown on an attached map. Ms. Lindquist also stated: We [the City Council] would also like to point out that within the designated initial service area, the easterly portion presently is substantially undeveloped; we would not expect this to be serviced until such time as development occurs. · The Commission at its regular meeting of October 9, 1980, . reviewed this most recent proposal of the City of Andover. As a result of the redrawing of the initial cable service territory, coupled with the important recognition by Andover (quoted above) that even withiD that initial service area the undeveloped terri- tories would not be serviced until such time as development occurs, the Commission formerly withdrew its objection to the Andover proposal.
