Melvin Kaasa dated November 3, 1980 <br />Letter from Mr. Moroz dated October 28, 1980 <br />Proposed changes in budget for 1981' <br />Letter to Mr. August Peltzer from William Goodrich <br /> <br />CASE #1: <br /> <br />DRAINAGE PROBIJ~S: <br />The following drainage problems are brought to your attention <br />for your review and action: <br />a) 163rd Street N.W. and Olivine Street N.W. - This case was <br /> before Council on 0ctobe~ 28, 1980 as enclosure (D3- case #1). <br /> You tabled this case at that meeting and directed that it be <br /> returned for your review and action at this meeting. You <br /> also requested Council members make a site review of the <br /> problem before this meeting. I have also asked the Public <br /> Works Superintendent, Merle Mevissen, to prepare a report on. <br /> all drainage problems which is contained as enclosure (D2-a)- <br /> I will have Merle review this with Council at this meeting. <br /> This report also covers his recommendations on this problem. <br /> b) Other drainage problems regarding street improvement projects - <br /> Mr. Pete Raatikka, City Engineer, will address these problems <br /> as he needs your immediate approval to acquire easements in <br /> these cases. <br /> <br /> Dorothy Smith (Construction Project #80-10) is one of the <br /> cases in which Council will have to act on tonight. Please <br /> refer to enclosure (D2-aa) which spells out what she wants <br /> in this case. She is asking that you delete one of the two <br /> units that you assessed her which amounts to $1,996.43. <br /> Comments: I'm going to have the City Attorney address the <br /> Council on the State Laws pertaining to drainage as I don't <br /> think the Council realizes signi£icants of this problem. <br /> <br /> <br />
