REQUEST FOR RAMSEY RIDGE PRELIMINARY'PLAT APPROVAL: <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka noted the changes from the original sketch plan outlined <br />in his report. <br /> <br />Harold Hunt, an adjoining property owner, questioned a road extension ease- <br />ment to he put in for future development of land. <br /> <br />M~. Roger Meyer was also in attendance requesting an extension of a road. <br /> <br />The consensus of the P g Z Co~mlsslon is to recommend to the City Council <br />the approval of the prellmlna~y plat with the following changes. <br /> <br />1) That a road easement be provided to connect the properties on the <br /> east side of Ramsey Ridge to Sapphire Street. This ~oad should <br /> be located between lots ~ 3 and #~ of Block 3, Ramsey Ridge Plat. <br />2) That Sapphire Streetlextend to 171st Ave to line with the existing <br /> 171 Av coming out on' Varlolite Street. <br />3) That lot 1 of block 1 be changed to include part of lot 2 to allow <br /> a m~re buildable lot. <br /> <br />The Engineer commented on' the drainage ditches and City Administrator Schnelle <br />suggested that easemtns be acquired for the ditches. <br /> <br />Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Ron West to recommend to the City Council <br />the approval of Ramsey Ridge Preliminary Plat with the above corrections and <br />the Engineer's recommendations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 8-0. <br /> <br />VERNDALE PROPERTIES'SKETCH PI~N: <br /> <br />Ron West presented two plans to subdivide into two lots and one outlot. <br /> <br />The P&Z Cou~nlssion favors Plan B and M~. West should call for a public <br />hearing for Preliminary Plat approval in January. <br /> <br />JACK MENKVELD'SKETCH PLAN;AGREEMENT TO PLAT PROPERTY AT ARMSTRONG BLVD <br /> <br />AND HIGHWAY 10 and 169 <br /> <br />~Jack Menkveld presented the sketch plan to the P&Z Commission. <br /> <br />The consensus of the commission is to recommend to the Council the approval <br />of the sketch plan contingent on all items on the engineers report. <br /> <br />Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Kathy Schneider to adjourn the Planning <br />and Zoning Meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully sub. mitred, <br /> <br />P & Z Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Page 2 12/2/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
