TO: ~ayor and City Council

FR@~: City Administrator

RE: Council 01d Business

Enclosure (D2-aa)

(D2-a)

(D2-e)

Information regarding Tungsten, Front Street and Rivlyn
Avenue Street Project
List from City Assessor of representative sales in Ramsey
(To be available at meeting)
Proposed Ordinance #80-8 regarding assessment policy
Documents Council shouted note in minuts
Letter from ~Ar. Stephen H. Munstentieger dated September l0
City Engineers letter regarding High Point Plat

CASE #1: JOINT COOPERATIVE AGRE~VKENT; REGARDING COMMUNITY BLOCK GRANT

PROGRAM:

The City Council at their meeting of September 8, 1980, tabled
action on this which was to approve of Joint Agreement for the
County to participate in the Urban HUD Block Grant program.
Please refer to-your Council agenda dated September 8, 1980
'D-3 case #2 under Council New Business for the joint agreement.
Council action was to invite Commissioner Fields to this meeting
and have him go over the guidelines the County will have in ad-
ministering this HUD Grant program prior to the City of Ramsey
entering into this cooperative agreement. There is a lot of
money at stake here and Ramsey wants to be sure that we get
o~r fair share as we do have important in~nediate projects:

a) Land for Public Works Building

We should be acquiring land here at the Ramsey Municipal
Center for a public works building. The area we have now
for public works isn't adequate. This is a fundable item.

b) Finishing of the lower section of City Hall
This is another critical project that we need to accomplish
here in our City. If we complete our municipal building,
I'm sure our citizens will really make use of it.
