The relative <br /> weight of each factor is also given. <br /> <br /> E,XISTING HOUSING - <br /> 1 to20 <br />Low-Income <br /> <br />Municipalities r~nked accord- <br />ing to percent of total hous- <br />ing in price range effordable <br />by Iow-income perSons. (Unit.~ <br />renting for $119 or less, or <br />valued at $12,500 or less, , <br />1970 Census. The percent <br />of units that are substandard <br />is subtracted and ~he percent <br />of mobile homes is added to <br />arive at a total percentage-) <br /> <br />Moderete-I ncome <br /> <br />Municipalities ranked accord- <br />ing to percent of total hous- <br />ing in price range affordable <br />by moderate-income persons. <br />(Units renting for $199 or <br />less, or valued at $19,999 or <br />less, 1970 Census.) <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br /> EXISTING <br /> BUBSIDIZFD HOUSING. <br />Municipalities ranked accord- <br />ing to percent of subsidized <br />units constructed, purchased, <br />or approved by the funding <br />agency for construction or pur- <br />chase in the community for <br />Iow-and-moderate-income and/ <br />or disabled persons. (Includes <br />HUD Iow-rent public housing, <br />rent supplement projects, and <br />Secdon 8 housing assistance <br />payments for very Iow and <br />Iow-income persons, Section <br />235, 236, and ?.21-D3 Iow- <br />market rent projects, residen- <br />tial units purchased with the <br />assistance of federal, state, <br />or county funds and used for <br />the placement of adult offend- <br />ers or adjudicated.delinquents; <br />and publicly subsidized non- <br />profit group homes licensed <br />by the Department of Health <br />and the Departmerrt of Public <br />Welfare which provide tem- <br />porary or permanent housing <br />for mentally ill, mentally <br /> ~ ~ded, and chemically <br /> dependant Iow-lncome <br /> persons.) <br /> <br />Resoonds to Family Needs <br />Communities which have two <br />percent or more of total hous- <br />ing stock available for Iow-and- <br />moderateAncome subsidized <br />persons may receive an addi? <br />tional 10 points if 20 percent <br />or more of such housing are <br />designated as subsidized units <br />for families or are units with <br />two bedrooms or more. <br /> <br /> <br />
