I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to <br />one of these sessions. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Blaine City Hall, 9150 Central Ay. NE., on ThursdaY, October 9. <br /> The primary purpose of these meetings is to provide a forum where you <br /> can learn about our concerns, and we can learn about yours -- on a <br /> first-hand basiS. I will be prepared to update you on the status of <br /> the 1976 Metropolitan Land Planning Act implementation process, the <br /> new Metropolitan Agricultural Preserves Act, the Waste Management <br /> Act, the Light Rail Transit study the Council has undertaken, and <br /> other Council a~tivitles that may be of interest to you. <br /> Representatives of the regional Commissions will also be present to <br /> dispuss commission activities and answer questions. <br /> I hope you can find time on your busy schedule to attend.
