TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FR~: City Administrator <br /> <br />DATE: September 23, 1980 <br /> <br />RE: Staff report for September, 1980 <br /> <br />1) Finance: The following is submitted on this case: <br /> <br /> a) 1981 Annual Budget - This document is before the Council <br /> Budget Committee. This committee met August 27, 1980. They <br /> received direction from the Council at the regular Council <br /> meeting of September 8, 1980. The Budget Committee will be <br /> meeting again September 24, 1980. <br /> <br /> b) Five Year Capital Improvement - This we have in the rought <br /> draft but won't review its contents until the 1981 annual City <br /> Budget has been acted upon with the exception of the proposed <br /> 1981 projects which will have to be approved along with the <br /> annual budget. <br /> <br /> 'c) Construction projects to be assessed out in 1981 - These <br /> construction projects will have to get assessed out this year: <br /> <br /> #80-1, #80-2, #80-3, #80-4, #80-6, #80-8, #80-9 <br /> #80-10, #80-11, #80-12, #80-14 and #79-10 <br /> <br /> We have these hearings set up for October 14 and 15, 1980. <br /> Consequently, October is going to be a very busy month here <br /> for us. <br /> <br /> 2) Projects: My staff report to Council on July 22, 1980 listed projects <br /> that were still not completed as of that date. Accordingly, I am again <br /> reviewing that list with Council. <br /> <br /> a) Scenic and Wild Rivers Ordinance: We have advanced through <br /> the public hearing stage (September 16, 1980). We now are <br /> negotiating with the Department of Natural Resources. The <br /> ordinance is still in the limbo stage. <br /> <br /> b) Site and Design Plan Ordinance: This still has not been <br /> put into final form for public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
