pLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Planning & zoning Commission was held on <br />September 2, 1980 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303- <br /> chairman Ken peterson called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.M. with the <br /> following in attendance: <br /> <br />Ken peterson, chaizlna-n <br />Ron West <br />Kathy schneider <br />Harry Ellis <br /> <br />Benja~nin Deemer <br />Gerald zi~m~erma~ <br />Art Dunn <br /> <br />Also present: <br />Lloyd schnelle, City Administrator <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was requested that ,'Housing sizes" and "RevieW of P & Z Budget for 1981" <br />be added to the agenda and listed as Items 93 and 94 respectively- <br /> Motion by Ron West and seconded by Ben Deemer to approYe the Agenda with the <br /> noted additions- Motion carried 7-0. <br /> APPROVAL OF pLANNIN__~G& ZONING MINUTES <br /> Re_~lar~P & Z Meeting of August 4, 1980 <br /> Kathy Schneider requested that paragraph 2 on page 6 be changed to read, <br /> "Kathy schneider expressed her concern to Mr. Schnelle about the accident-prone <br /> area around the fruit stand on Sunfish Lake Blvd. & Highway 10 and she had <br /> every confidence that something would~ done about it." She explained that <br /> there was concern that if a P & Z commission me~ber called the city Hall <br /> regarding a violation or complaint that it would not be considered- <br /> Ben Deemer noted that under -pondYale Estates - preliminary Plat Approval" <br /> on page 5, the motion recommending preliminary plat approval was seconded <br /> by Harry ElliS, not Ben Deemer- <br /> Motion by Gerald zimmerman and seconded by Ben Deemer to approve the minutes with cox <br /> rectionS- Motion carried 6-0. Art Dunn abstained- <br /> NOT____~E BOARDS AND COMMISSIO_~_NS . <br /> chairman Peterson brought up the question of holding the P & Z Commission <br /> meeting on the first Tuesday of the ~nth instead of the first Monday of <br /> the month in the future.
