The increase is <br />necessary to offset an increase in the wholesale cost of gas we have received from <br />Northern Natural Gas Company, our supplier to your service area. <br /> <br /> Northern's increase results from their annual year-end Purchased Gas, R&D, CRI <br />adn LFUT adjustments for 1981. As a result, North Central will be increasing all <br />Firm rates for natural gas by $0.04554 per hundred cubic feet (HCF).
