CASE #12 PROPOSED JOB TITLE AND AD ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT <br /> <br />PLANNER COORDINATOR: <br /> <br />Please refer to enclosure (D2-a) this agenda for job title <br />and want ad. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be up to you as to what you <br />want to do on this issue. <br /> <br />CASE #13 <br /> <br />STATE LEGISLATION: <br /> <br />Please refer to Council Agenda dated January 13, 1981 enclosttre <br />(D-3 Case #8 Council New Business) for informational purposes. <br /> <br />The following persons attended legislative meetings in St. Paul <br />on Tuesday, January 14, 1981. <br /> <br /> (1). 8:00 A.M. meeting with State Legislatures and the <br /> State Auditor. The following City people were in attend- <br /> ance at this meeting. Councilman Sorteberg, Mayor Gamec, <br /> and City Administrator. It was a very good meeting. <br /> <br /> (2). 10:30 A.M. meeting at League Cities on State Aids. <br /> The following City people were in attendance at this <br /> meeting: Mayor Gamec, Councilwoman Van Wagner and City <br /> Administrator. <br /> <br />(3). 12:30 P.M. meeting with ou~ State Senator Peterson <br />regarding State Aid. He stated his community of Wyoming <br />was upset about the State Aid formula and how it is distri- <br />buted. <br /> <br />Again we are finally making an inpact on the legislatures <br />but we have a rough road ahead. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-b) is new State Aid Bill draft which we received <br />f~om John Clawson. He has really been on our side of the aisle. <br /> <br />CASE #14 <br /> <br />PERMIT FEES: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-c) contains the Building Inspector's memo dated <br />January 14, 1981 which shows how Ramsey's permit charges compare <br />with surrounding communities. <br /> <br />Comments: I concur with the Building Inspector's recommendation <br />%o the~ity Council. <br /> <br />CoUncil Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove/amend <br />the above recommendations on increasing City fees. If Council <br />approves of the above your motion should read. <br /> <br /> <br />
