CASE ~9 CHOOSING SEWAGE SLUDGE SITES (Encl D3 Case #4 January 13, <br /> <br />1981 agenda) <br />This was reviewed earlier on the agenda under Letters and Communications. <br />Council Action was to have City Engineer Raatikka draft a response <br />to the Metro Council regarding the preliminary report on <br />choosing Sewage Sludge Disposal Sites. The Council has received <br />the Metro Council December 29, 1980 letter for historical record <br />purposes. There were no further comments or discussion. <br />CASE #10 ANOKA COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> (Encl D3 Case #5 January 13, 1981 agenda) <br />Motion by Councilperson Reimann and seconded by Councilperson <br />Sorteberg to approve of the Anoka County Law Enforcement Joint <br />Powers Agreement as presented to the Ramsey City Council. Further <br />to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator %o sign the above <br />said agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Sorteberg, <br />Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and Councilwoman Van Wagner. <br />Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CASE #11 MINNESOTA FISCAL DISPARITIES BILL (Encl D3 Case #6 <br /> <br />January 13, 1981 agenda) <br /> <br />The Council acknowledged receipt of the Minnesota Fiscal <br />Disparities Bill and had no discussion or comment. <br /> <br />CASE #12 PROPOSED JOB TITLE AND AD ON THE ADMIN/ASSIS/PLAN/ <br /> <br />COOR (Encl D2 Case #12) <br /> <br />The Council discussed the proposed job title and job description. <br />Mayor Gamic stated the job title should be Assistant Administrative <br />Planner/Coordinator, as suggested by the personnel committee. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec to stay with the job title recommended by <br />the Personnel Committee: Assistant Administrative Planner/Coordinator <br />for advertising purposes. There was no second to the motion. <br /> <br />Motion died'for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Discussion as to the duties and description inclusions found <br />the Council in agreement there is a need for an administrative <br />assistant, however, there was some question as to the affordability <br />and specific duties for this position. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Van Wagner and seconded by Councilperson <br />Sorteberg to place an ad to hire an Administrative/Assistant/ <br />Assistant for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Sorteberg, <br />Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and Councilwoman Van Wagner. <br />Voting no: None. <br /> <br /> <br />
