PUBLIC HEARING <br />Board of Adjustment <br />City of Ramsey <br />Anoka County <br />State of ~Ainnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a <br />Board of Adjustment hearing regarding Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. <br />request to place a mobile home on its premises at the landfill on January 13, <br />1981, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilperson Sorteberg <br />Councilperson Van Wagner <br />Councilperson Relmann <br />Councilperson Cox <br /> <br />Councilperson Cox called the public hearing to order at 7:50 P.M. <br /> <br />The purpose of the public hearing was to consider the application of Waste <br />Management of Minnesota, Inc., to place a mobile home on its premises at the <br />landfill. <br /> <br />Nr. Terry Miller of the Landfill stated the landfill needs added office space. <br />He said the proposed home would have space for two secretaries, himself, plus <br />storage. The mobile home would be 12 x 54 feet. It is a standard office <br />trailer to be rented from Space Rentals in Mirmeapolis. <br /> <br />It would b~ placed southeast of the present shop area, right in front of the <br />existing shop as you come into the lsndfill. <br /> <br />Mr. Dan Hatch, 15041 Garnet Street, said he spoke on behalf of the residents <br />on the west side of the landfill and said they would like an eight foot cedar <br />fence along the residents' boundaries on the west side which would meet the <br />screening ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Art Hansmann, said kids are cutting wire and going through and therefore, <br />the fence necessity. <br /> <br />M~tion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilperson Reimann to close the Board <br />of Adjustment hearing. <br /> <br />Notion Carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment Public Hearing was adjourned at 8:19 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully, <br /> <br />Lloyd G.
