Motion by Arthur Dunn and seconded by Ronald West to approve the preliminary <br />plat of HY-IO Ramsey subject to the City Engineer Raatikka's report dated <br />January 6, 1981. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Votin~ yes Chairman Kenneth Peterson, Ronald West, Arthu~ <br />Dunn and Gerald Zimmerman. ¥otin~ no None. Abstaining Benjamin Deemer <br />due to the fact he felt there was insbtfficient amount of information on this <br />preliminary plat.' <br />Verdale Commercial Park Request for Approval of Preliminary Plat - 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Ronald West, developer of this three lot commercial plat (zoned B-l) briefly <br />went ever his plans for the plat. It abutts the Kerr-McGee Gasoline Station <br />on the very western county line. There was some discussion about access to <br />the north of this plat, but it was the concensus of the Commission that a <br />road could be built to the east of this plat for access to the north. <br />Motion by Benjamin Deemer and seconded by Gerald Zimmerman to recommend to <br />the City Council approval of the preliminary plat subject to articles #3, <br />#4 and #9 as stated in City Engineer Raatikka's letter dated January 6, <br />1981 for which a variance should be granted. These articles are: <br /> #3 - Soil borings were not supplied with the preliminary <br /> plat as required under City Code Ordinance 170.037B <br /> sub para i. <br /> <br /> #4 - The plat abutts U.S. Highway #10, 52 and 169 and direct <br /> access is not permitted as per Article # 170.038E sub <br /> para 7 of the City Code. <br /> <br /> #9 - Zoning requirements state that the lots must be 200' <br /> in width. These lots taper to the rear and at the set- <br /> backs are not 200' wide. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Votiug yes Chairman Kenneth Peterson, Arthur Dunn, Gerald <br />Z~mmerm~n and BenJ,m{u Deemer. Voting no None. Abstaining Ronald West. <br /> The developer agrees to pay a park fee in lieu of land donation and the <br /> Outlot "A" as mentioned in #lO would be sold to Voyageur Ssles. The <br /> developer must obtain approval from the Minnesota Department of Transpor- <br /> tation for direct access unto U.S. Highway #10, 52 snd 169. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sidney Scha,,mburg, owner of 80 acres of landlocked land, described as: <br /> The Southwest ~,~rter of the Northeast Quarter and the North- <br /> west Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26 Township <br /> 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> is purchasing 12 acres of land from Mr. John Thorne, 14744 Sunfish T~l~e <br /> Blvd. N.W.
