Ordinance Change on Cul-de-sacs: ' This item was discussed and tabled last .fall at' the time Meadowbrook Estates was platted. If the CQuncil wishes to change the ordinance in regard to the origin of cul-de-sacs or one access plats, they should instruct staff to do so. Bike Trail Funding: As requested I have checked with Mn/DOT on the availability of bike trail funding. Presently .all' funds have been pro- grammed for projects and new f6nds if any won't be available until July 1, 1981. .The city may make application and get on the list for future funding provided the projects meet state criteria. The main criteria for funding' includes, consistency with state, regional and.local plans, safety and promotion of transportation. 'Genemally 25 percent of the applications are eligible for funding which would cover 75 percent of the construction.
