P&Z minutes dated February 3, 1981 recon~nended approval of the <br /> above proposed subdividing of land providing they entered into <br /> the above agreement with the City of Ramsey. <br />Mr. Schaumberg stated he wants agreement upheld with future requests for build- <br />lng permits on private roads. Any land developed or upgraded along my land <br />better bring road up to my land. <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilwoman Van Wagner to <br />enter into agreement between Mr. Schaumburg and the City of Ramsey. <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: ~{ayor Gamec~ Councilman Sorteberg, Councilman <br /> Reimarm, Councilman Cox s_nd Councilwoman Van Wagner. Voting no: None. <br /> D-3 lb. Robert Sharp - Knife business in Ramsey~ New Business <br /> <br />Mr. Sharp came before the Council to inquire about the posslblity of having <br />a custom knife-making business run out of a home in the City of Ramsey. <br />Mr. Sharp stated he and his wife are thinking about pUrchasing a property <br />on the corner of Highway 47 and 63. He is a custom knife-maker and would <br />like to run a small business operation amounting to approximately 10% of <br />his business out of the property and before he buys it he would like to <br />know if the city would allow this. <br /> Mayor Gamec stated he would need to have a public hearing for a home <br /> occupation permit and possibly a conditional use permit if he intended <br /> to use the garage for ~uny part of his business. <br /> Councilman Sorteberg suggested to Mr. Sharp he buy contingent on getting <br /> the necessarY permit or permits. <br /> Mayor Gamec also stated the business part of the proper would be taxes as <br /> commercial and any expansion or building expansion in his opinion would be <br /> denied. He also stated he should contact the City A~m~nistrator and <br /> discuss the procedures for application of a permit. <br /> <br />D-2 Old Business <br />Case #4: Dennis Donovan~ P~a~rk~ & Recreation Chairman regarding Brochure for <br />~Bond: <br /> Dennis Denovan was present" to go over ~roposed brochure that the Park & <br /> Recreation Commission has been directed to prepare for the proposed park <br /> improvement bond issue. He presented a rough form brochure to the Council. <br /> Mayor Gamec stated the brochure should simply point out the fasts and not <br /> lean either way or push any issue. <br /> Attorney Goodrich has made his recommendations to the Park & Recreation <br /> Board for changes in the brochure. <br /> C/February 24, 1981 <br /> <br /> <br />
