ORDINANCE #81-2 <br /> CITY OF POkUSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF ~INNESOTA <br /> <br />A~FJqD~T TO CHAPTER 110.09 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE "KEEPING OF CERTAIN ANIMALS" <br />CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. <br />An Ordinance Amending Chapter 110.09 of the City Code of Rmmsey, Ninnesota. <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. A~ENDD[ENT <br /> Section 110.09 entitled ,,Prohibited Animals" shall be amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> 110.09 KEEPING OF CERTAIN ANI~S, LIVESTOCKAND POULTRY <br /> 110.091 PROHIBITEDANIII~LS WITHOUT CONDITIONAL USE PERI,IT. <br /> None of the following animals shall be maintained on any <br /> parcel of l~nd in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br /> a) goats; <br /> b) pigs; or <br /> C) COWS <br />except said animals may be allowed if the 8_uimal owner and/ <br />or l~nd owner has obtained from the City Council a conditional <br />use permit, which permit specifically allows the keeping of <br />said animals and under what conditions the animals may be <br />kept. <br />The administrative procedure and criteria for granting or <br />denying a conditional use permit under this Chapter shall be <br />as prescribed in Section 170.016 of the City Code which <br />section is entitled, ,'Conditional Uses". <br /> <br />110.092 pEBNITTEDANI]VALS <br />(a) Three (3) acre parcels - Notwithstanding the provision <br />in paragraph llO.091, a maximum of, or combination of, two <br />(2) of the above type animals may be maintained on a parcel <br />of not less ths-n three (3) contiguous acres of property to <br />which the animal owner has fee title or a lease hold interest. <br />(b) Twenty (20) acre parcels - Notwithsts-nding the provisions <br />in paragraph llO.091 and 110.092 (a) above any type of <br />domestic animals and livestock and poultry without limitation <br />in number, maY be maintained on a parcel of land which is not <br />less than twenty (20) acres in size to which parcel the <br />animal owner has fee title or a lease hold interest. <br /> <br /> <br />
