Use a stiff ire probe or ice pick to find the sensor body <br />O New sites are wired with sheathed 2-conductor cable of at least 14 Gauge diarneter <br />O All wire connections are protected by closed grease caps <br />O Wiring inside grease caps is secured by tightly fastened wire nuts_ Don't open to inspect - ask <br />O Wires in valve boxes are ordedy and easily discernable as to what they control <br />Device Configuration iat the Controller or from Irrigation Managerli <br />O Inspect the controller to see that it is clean and not damaged in shipping or by mishandling during <br />Installation <br />O Create and name watering restrictions In accordance with area and site requirements <br />O install water sources. master valves and pumps and name them <br />O install sensors and name them <br />O Install flow meters and name them <br />O Assign each flow meter a water source <br />O Set pipe diameter or custiorn settings for each flow meter <br />0 install any remaining devices and name them <br />O install Zones and narrre therm These can be reordered at any lime <br />O Assign a I -lost Zone to each sensor <br />Zone Checklist <br />Li Sensor Lanes are identified and programmed as per site specifications <br />O Dependent zones are assigne-d to sensor zones according to the microclimate <br />O Dependent zones are set to reasonable tracking ratios <br />O Timed zones have reasonable run times and frequencies <br />O Each zone should be assigned to the proper water source <br />O All zones are assigned to the appropriate watering restnction <br />O All zones water 'Alen manually activated <br />O Water distribution patterns assure efficient coverage (head to head coverage) <br />O Nozzle types {precipitation rates) are consistent throughout each zone <br />Li Heads are clean with full spray patterns <br />Li Heads ere adjusted to a.v oid sidewalks and parking lots <br />LJ If a pressure meter is installed. verify that pressure readings are reasonable <br />LJ Set flow rates for each zone (as determined from flow meter readings or as specified if llow meter Is not <br />present) <br />Sensor Checklist <br />O Verify each sensor reads reasonable moisture, temperature and EC levels <br />O Identify Field Capacity and Managed Allowable Depletion levels for each sensor <br />O Program proper threshold settings for each sensor <br />Final Check <br />LJ Run the "Configuration Checkfrom the diagnostic screen in Irrigation Manager and resolve COIMMS <br />o Successfully run the -System Test' from the diagnostic screen in Irrigation fvlanager <br />O Verify remote connection is working (Telephone. Ethernet, or Radio) <br />O Verify -Voice Access" is working {where installed) <br />O Install the Accilima Email Reporting application and verify it is working (where desired) <br />O Notify site maintenance personnel of site connection infomnation <br />O Create a site map with zone names and sensor locations <br />O File an 'Initial Configurationreference document using the "P:int configuration" optioh in Irrigation !V.-Jr-lacier <br />O Create a configuration backup using "Ex.porl.
