Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-085 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REQUST FOR QUOTATION FOR 2023 MSA <br />PAVEMENT MARKING IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-13 <br />WHEREAS, visible pavement marking is a critical component of driver and pedestrian safety and <br />are a required maintenance operation per MSA rules and standards; and <br />WHEREAS, the 2023 — 2032 Capital Improvement Program includes an annual MSA Pavement <br />Marking Improvements project to perform pavement markings on a 7-year cycle, outside of reconstructions <br />and pavement overlays; and <br />WHERAS, the city Staff has the capacity to prepare plans and specifications for Improvement <br />Project #23-13, 2023 MSA Pavement Marking Improvements; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby orders the City Engineer to request quotations for constructing <br />said improvements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th <br />
