CC Regular Session 5. 16. <br />Meeting Date: 04/25/2023 <br />By: Bruce Westby, Engineering/Public Works <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #23-091 Approving Change Order #3 for Improvement Project #23-03, Armstrong Boulevard <br />and Alpine Drive Roundabout Improvements <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Due to a market shortage of 12-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) watermain and the short construction schedule <br />allowed for Anoka County's Armstong Boulevard/CSAH 83 & Alpine Drive roundabout Improvements project, <br />the contractor for this project, North Pine Aggregate, Inc., requests that the City approve Change Order #3 <br />allowing 12-inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) watermain to be substituted for 12-inch DIP watermain. <br />Funding Source: <br />Prices include all equipment, labor and miscellaneous items required to perform this work. North Pine Aggregate <br />has submitted a price which was approved by MnDOT.
