Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-093 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO ANDERSON IRRIGATION FOR <br />INSTALLATION OF BOULEVARD TREES AND IRRIGATION ALONG SUNWOOD <br />DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an invitation for quotes, two quotes were received, and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the quotes that were received: <br />Contractor <br />Anderson Irrigation <br />Great Northern Landscapes <br />Base Bid Add Alternate <br />$45,639 $51,785 <br />$50,015 $56,045 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Anderson Irrigation in the amount of $45,639 is the lowest responsible <br />bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted, and <br />WHEREAS, grass seed and fertilization were not included within the Request for Proposals, and <br />that cost is $850. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Anderson Irrigation for the installation of boulevard trees and irrigation along <br />Sunwood Drive from, at a not -to -exceed amount of $47,000, and <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 25th day of April, 2023. <br />Resolution #23-093 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
